Kuzma Stogi Reference tonearm
Trade-in tonearm and mount in excellent condition. Customer traded up to a Kuzma 4 Point. The Stogi Ref is one of the best reference tonearms available. It provides a sound at an absolute reference level. This tonearm incorporates a conical tube and the vertical bearings have a highly damped brass housing. The conical tube is internally damped and divided into two parts, which, while further aiding damping, also allows for easy azimuth adjustment. A special mechanism, using a simple Allen key, allows the tube to be rotated back and forth in minimal increments with no air gap. This mechanism is submerged in silicone grease for further damping. A marker line clearly shows the azimuth position and facilitates use, while allowing for repeated adjustments. The main structure, conical tube and headshell are machined from solid aluminum blocks. The quality ball bearings are carefully selected and individually checked and tested before assembly. They can each support 20 Kg and are mounted free of play with minimal friction in all planes. Stogi Ref arms incorporate features such as an adjustable height cueing device, precisely calibrated counterweight and simply adjustable bias. The arm cable is a continuous run of high quality Cardas wire from the cartridge lugs to the Eichmann copper bullet plugs. SOLD TO USA .
